Sharon Goodyer welcomes local families from Thanet to be part of the Summer Kitchen 2019.
A holiday atmosphere,a touch of prosperity in an age of austerity. We welcome families across Thanet to be part of the Summer Kitchen.
Starting Monday 29th July, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 2-8 pm this summer at Dame Janet Primary Academy and Drapers Mills Primary Academy. Fun games and sports for all, arts and crafts, and a place to sit and chat. From 5-8 pm the restaurant opens, delicious homemade meals.
This year we welcome Inclusive Sport to Summer Kitchen. Tom and his team from Inclusive Sport will be delivering a wide range of sports, games and activities to +14 plus age students. He is also providing a pair from his team for each site for 2 hours every day 2.30-4.30 pm. This is where the collaboration, learning to play again, introducing fun gentle exercise into our lives, for all of us comes in. They are going to introduce us to a range of fun active things we will enjoy doing together.
'We love improving lives through INCLUSIVE SPORT’ “We use sport to empower communities and improve lives.”

"Our food never used to make us ill."
comment from a mother at mother and toddlers group.
We teach parents of primary age children how to cook meals which are tastier, healthier, more affordable and which their children will love.
